+Title: A Case for Feminism in Programming Language Design
+
+Abstract: Why does the programming language community lacks diversity? The
+authors of this paper make a case for the use of feminist theory as a critical
+thinking tool to analyse intellectual and cultural norms contributing to
+marginalization in the community. They argue it ultimately limits the array of
+research being produced and demographic diversity. We will use the paper as an
+opportunity to question our own biases in knowledge production both in what we
+deem of interest and the methodologies we believe to be valid. The article may
+also be a stepping stone to further readings into feminist care theory and how
+it might relate to our goals of sustainable, resilient and empowering IT
+infrastructure.
